Congratulations and forthcoming events at Bromwell Hi Bromies - What a wonderful start we have made to the festival, 89 marks and first place in the Senior Troupes and 87 marks in the Junior Duets, Grace and Chloe, I am very proud of you all, keep up the good work for the next 3 weeks.
As principal of the Bromwell Academy of Dance and Drama, based at Bell Green Community Centre, Coventry, I would just like to say a very big 'well done' for such fantastic festival results obtained during March at the West Midlands Dance Festival. A total of 177 winning performances.
Now onto the next events:-
On Sunday June 7th, 43 Bromwell pupils will be performaing at the Liverpool Echo Arena. We are so proud to have been asked to perform 3 numbers in such a prestigous venue, and everyone is very excited.
Our annual show is on Saturday 18th July at 7.15pm and Sunday 19th July at 3.30pm at the Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton and tickets can be obtained on the door. All Bromwell pupils will be taking part and the show contains all styles of dance, Mime and Drama and Musical Theatre. I can promise an evening of entertainment for everyone.
October is going to be very exciting for all Bromwell pupils as we will be taking part in the United Teachers of Dance' performance to be held at the Bedworth Civic Hall along with other schools from all over the West Midlands.
November sees our annual festival held here in Coventry on 3 Sundays, when all pupils will be included, again representing Bromwell.
Towards the end of the year we will be making plans here at Bromwell to once again visit Disneyland Paris in 2010, where we will be dancing in the Fantasyland Theatre. An event which everyone enjoys.
A very busy year, but enjoyable for everyone.
